GETTING HERE
Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre is easily accessible by car and transit. For directions, please click here.
Road Closures: There are road closures on Westbrook Mall, between Student Union Boulevard and University Boulevard due to construction. We recommend not to use 4th avenue to access campus for the event. View map here for road closure information.
PARKING
Event parking is located at Thunderbird Parkade which is conveniently only a 2 minute walk from the venue. UBC Parking is a ‘Pay-by-Plate’ system so please note your plate before you pay at the pay machines in the parkade. There is also street parking available. HOW TO GET INTO THE EVENT
Please enter through the main entrance along Wesbrook Mall. Have your printed or mobile tickets ready to be scanned by our ticket takers at the entrance. For guests with general admission floor tickets, you must have a printed copy of your ticket.
Please have a look over our Prohibited Items list to ensure all patrons have a fun and safe time during the concert. Some prohibited items include: bags larger than 12″ x 12″, alcohol & illegal drugs, and weapons of any kind.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre has multiple concession stands throughout the arena that include a variety of beverage and food options. Outside food & beverages are prohibited.
MERCHANDISE
James Bay merchandise will be sold at designated stands. Arrive early to ensure you have ample time to purchase the size and style you want.
