Vancouver, BC – James Bay did not disappoint Sunday evening at UBC’s Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre. The second last stop of his Electric Light Tour began with opener Noah Kahan who set the tone, soothing the crowd with his unique vocals and acoustics. James Bay then took the stage and got the crowd on their feet singing hits like ‘Pink Lemonade’ and ‘Wild Love’ from his new album as well as old favourites like ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Peer Pressure.’ The roaring crowd brought James Bay out for an encore where he covered a Beatles classic, then ended the night with one of his biggest hits, ‘Hold Back the River.’ With the crowd singing along, the evening could not have ended more perfectly.
