Vancouver, BC – Saturday, May 7 OPETH made a stop in Vancouver on their North American co-headlining tour with Mastodon.
It was a memorable night of progressive rock/metal here at the Thunderbird Arena. After a short but powerful opening performance by Khemmis, the crowd was well warmed up for the second act of the night, Mastodon. The band soon had the crowd banging their heads to their electrifying music and turning heads with their magical stage set-up. Wrapping up their set with the crowd favourite, Blood and Thuder, it was then time for Opeth to take the stage.
Opeth began their remarkable performance with Livets Trädgård and ended off the night by playing Deliverance. All throughout their performance, their unique and heavy sounds kept the crowd on their feet and cheering. It truly was a night for everyone at the Arena.
