Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre is nestled between two major roads coming onto campus (University Boulevard and 16th Ave) making it easily accessible from all points of the compass. The arena is located on the corner of Thunderbird Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall inside the UBC Campus.
From the North
Via West 4th
- West 4th turns into Chancellor Boulevard
- Turn left (south) onto Wesbrook Mall from Chancellor Boulevard
- Pass the first traffic light (intersection of University Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall)
- Pass the UBC Hospital on your right
- Second Traffic light is Thunderbird Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall where the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre is located.
Via West 10th
- West 10th turns into University Boulevard
- Turn left (South) onto Wesbrook Mall from University Boulevard
- Pass the UBC Hospital on your right
- First traffic light is Thunderbird Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall where the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre is located.
Via West 16th
- Make right (North) on Wesbrook Mall (roundabout is Wesbrook Mall)
- First traffic light is intersection of Thunderbird Boulevard and Wesbrook Mall where the arena is located on your left.
