Los Angeles, CA – November 25, 2024 – The Beach Boys today announced they will bring their “Endless Summer Gold” tour to Canada in 2025. Kicking off March 22 in Victoria, BC, the 11-date run will include stops in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and more, before wrapping in Peterborough, ON, on April 4. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 29, at 10AM local time. Please visit mikelove.com or thebeachboys.com for ticket details and more information.
Today’s tour announcement comes on the heels of legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Grammy® winner, New York Times best-selling author, co-founder, lead singer, and chief lyricist of The Beach Boys, Mike Love’s nomination for induction into the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame, in the prestigious “Performing Songwriters” category. Love has written or co-written the lyrics and hooks to some of the most performed songs in pop music history, including “California Girls,” “I Get Around,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Good Vibrations,” and “Kokomo,” cementing The Beach Boys’ legacy, alongside The Beatles and Michael Jackson, as the only artists to produce twelve Top 10 Singles within five years. The Songwriters Hall of Fame will induct its new members at the 2025 Induction & Awards Gala on June 12, 2025, in New York City.
In addition to their upcoming tour, The Beach Boys remain at the forefront of music and culture through their recent projects. In May, The Beach Boys documentary debuted on Disney+, offering fans a comprehensive look at the band’s journey from their humble beginnings to becoming one of the most influential acts in music history. Directed by Frank Marshall and Thom Zimny, the film features never-before-seen footage, interviews with band members including Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, and Bruce Johnston, and contributions from other industry luminaries such as Lindsey Buckingham and Janelle Monáe. The documentary soundtrack, available via Capitol/UMe, includes classic Beach Boys hits and the bonus track “Little Blue Bathing Suit” by Stephen Sanchez.
The band also released their only official book, The Beach Boys by The Beach Boys, in collaboration with Genesis Publications. This hardcover edition chronicles their meteoric rise, from their first single, “Surfin’,” to their iconic 1980 Independence Day concert. Fans can purchase the book at bookstores nationwide or at thebeachboysbook.com.
